The ADI stopped operating at the end of June 2018. Our premises at the avenue Hoche have officially closed their doors and won’t be available to us anymore. The team that has been leading the ADI’s programs has therefore decided that it is time to put the long and prestigious history to an end. The board has fully endorsed this decision.

We naturally deeply regret this state of things. We would like to give our warmest thanks to the embassies that have faithfully followed our activities, as well as to all of our partners. We would also like to express our deepest gratitude to His Highness the Aga Khan, who has been the corner stone of the Académie for many years.

There is however a silver lining, when we observe that Paris has many research centers that are more than able to give a much needed contribution to the analysis of international affairs. Moreover, according to the wishes of the Président de la République, November 11th, 12th and 13th of this year the city will hold the first meeting of the Paris Peace Forum. We believe that the intents and purposes of the founders of the Académie, after the First World War, will be served by this event but in an updated fashion and with even more ambition.
